GOLDFINS AQUACULTURE was established on 26 July 2010 by Mr. Arman Bin Zulkifli designed to run enterprise related to aquaculture projects under the management of the company. Ongoing projects is Climbing Perch Farming Project.
Company stat-up project as a Climbing Perch Farming Project that began in 2008. The project has been registered with the State of Perak Fisheries Department with registration identification ARMANZULKIFLI A006181-KAT. The project has gained widespread market to meet demand and we need to upgrade the farm.
The 2nd project is the Freshwater Fish Breeding and Ornamental Fish Project in hatchery system that began in early 2010. Goldfins Aquaculture company is planning to carry out the Freshwater Fish Breeding and Ornamental Fish Project, fish farming climbing perch well. This project was initiated by self-funding revenue from fish sales revenue. This project is also going well, but still can not meet the market demand because when farming to be done with a large scale requires modern equipment and adequate equipment to ensure continuity of the systematic production.
The 3rd project was fully operational now is Freshwater Fish Farming Project in Penculture System. This is the largest project done by Goldfins aquaculture from 2008 to at this time. The livestock of Pangasius and Tilapias feed in penculture size 30 ' x 40' x 15 ' /unit. There are 100 units penculture at the same size. 700-800 livestock per unit, capacity depends on the type, size of fish and duration of livestock.
The purpose of these companies do more than one project is to overcome the dependence on a single source or a single product. With the availability of both projects, the financial problems can be solved by the principle of a project can help further a project. In the true sense of mutual help. System carried out by the Goldfins Aquaculture in this farming project is a contract with a buyer or wholesalers who are interested. Buyer or wholesaler required to sign the purchase contract farming and fish seed of 50% of the cost of livestock shall be paid to the Goldfins Aquaculture. Once the livestock is producing, the buyer or wholesaler shall pay the entire balance and the value of the remaining livestock by weight and the price agreed upon in the contract. The purpose of this contract is to ensure that the company made sure that the buyer or wholesalers will still take livestock and buyers or wholesalers do not run the risk of 'no supply' with fish production continues in accordance with the requirements of the buyer or wholesalers themselves. So, the company will continue to carry out the project as always with the ongoing marketing of livestock.
With the ability of the Government and the relevant parties to provide encouragement and improvement effort to fish farmers who are thriving in this country, the Goldfins Aquaculture strive to increase production with the facilities provided by the government such as training services, production import, create Aquaculture Industrial Zone, Lenggong Agro-valley, research and advice from the Malaysian Fisheries Department improvement efforts by the Ministry of Industry and Agro-Based and government bodies associated with the aquaculture industry in this country.
2. Marketing Plan.
Buyers are composed of freshwater wholesalers, the company signed a purchase contract freshwater, freshwater fish farmers, middlemen and aquarium shop operators. There are also some individuals who prefer freshwater in large quantities at a time for special occasions. To carry out the contract agreement with the buyer, the company is definitely not hesitate to carry out freshwater fish breeding on a large scale to meet the demands of the contract with the buyer and this is how the company will continue to be able to earn a steady income as long as the contract runs.
Contract farming marketing and open market system are done separately, but still at the same place. This system is possible because of the market and in public contracts do not interfere with one another and facilitate management.
Marketing is also done through the internet, through websites related to business and marketing. Many buyers from outside Perak State will be in touch via e-mail or by telephone left in the website.
